Daddy booked a ticket to come home for Appa’s funeral, but in his hurry he mistakenly booked it for March 25th. Luckily, Boss Uncle informed the counter staff before leaving for Dubai that Mama and I would be arriving at the last minute for UL104. Finally, the counter staff changed the ticket to January 25th, and we boarded the flight to Colombo

We experienced a long delay at the Immigration counter due to a system error. According to the system records, it showed that my dad had never visited the Maldives before, even though he has more than 100 embarkations from here. Because of this discrepancy, the officers took his passport photos for verification. After completing this process, they allowed us to proceed and board the aircraft.
